Expanded metal is a semi-finished product in sheet form, composed of steel plate with interconnected openings that are meshed together without weaving or welding.
The primary attributes of expanded metal include its remarkable stiffness and resilience, all while maintaining a lightweight composition. Its versatility allows for diverse applications without compromising strength or integrity, distinguishing it favorably from other mesh materials.
The range of expended metal sheet includes dimensions according to the table:
Name | Larger diagonal | Smaller diagonal | Sheet thickness | Sheet width | Sheet length |
Fine mesh | 24 mm | 10 mm | 1.2 mm | 1000 mm | 2000 mm |
24 mm | 10 mm | 1.2 mm | 1000 mm | L (kotur)
Grating mesh | 62 mm | 24 mm | 2.0 mm | 1000 mm | 2000 mm |
62 mm | 24 mm | 2.5 mm | 1000 mm | 2000 mm
62 mm | 24 mm | 3.0 mm | 1000 mm | 2000 mm
Industrial platforms mesh | 140 mm | 55 mm | 2.0 mm | 1000 mm | 2000 mm |
140 mm | 55 mm | 2.5 mm | 1000 mm | 2000 mm
140 mm | 55 mm | 3.0 mm | 1000 mm | 2000 mm |
Custom dimensions for sheets, openings, and sheet thickness are subject to individual negotiation.
Expanded metal is supplied according to the standard for hot-rolled sheet (EN10025, EN10084, EN10083-1, and EN10088-1) or cold-rolled sheet (EN10130), depending on the specific dimensions and type of plate.
Permissible deviations in production are defined by standard C.K6.026.
Expanded metal sheet is sold individually, according to dimensions and technical specifications specific to this type of product.
